Ok so where is the group? On December 1th, Randy Drodge said...

"It will take a few days before you see the group (nf.sports) appear on your
news service. The mandate change for nf.general to exclude sports articles
will be announced at a later date."

It's understandable that there's a delay with Xmas and New Years, but it's
the 8th of Janurary and soon it'll be a full month since the newgroup should
have been done.

Where's nf.sports?

i just dont believe there is any need of it. the hockey posts do noy hurt
anyone any more than the political posts. the wanted ones however would
take up way too much space. therefore it makes sense to have a nf.wanted
and keep it seperate. however, nf.sports is not necessary

if there was a ng called davehx.....only the best and the brightest would be
permitted to join. (and best looking too)

what about for those of us that don't care to frequent nf.general due
to all the silly crap that goes on there......???? the only interest
i have in that group is in the sports posts, so why should i have to
weed through the crap to get to the goods when 'sports' is a topic
that can warrant its own newsgroup........???? i agree somewhat that
nf.general can be used for this purpose, it being a 'general'
newsgroup...... but why should a sportsfan be forced to download even
the headers of posts that he/she isn't interested in.......???? if
you think that nf.sports isn't necessary, when and if it comes into
being, you don't have to frequent the group at all......... as for
me, i still await patiently the creation of the group..........
