Randy Drodge and nf.sports

The Draft looks good Randy, we know there is a procedure you have to
follow....

But do you think maybe we can move a bit quicker on this?

Seems awefully slow in creating this newsgroup when there are more posts in
1 week on nf.general about hockey alone (let alone the other sports) than
there are in nf.arts in 6 months.

And nf.women have less posts again, maybe if we moved a little faster on
this Randy nf.general and nf.sports would both be better off.

We have been asking for nf.sports for months now. I'm hoping it'll be
created before hockey season 2003/2004 ends.

Now, now guys...the procedure has been slower than most would like, but
Randy has been helpful when called upon. I encourage you to keep expressing
your interest for the nf.sports group in this forum - the more interest that
is shown, the faster this would all go.

Also, keep bringing forward any suggestions you have for
changes/improvements to the mandate.

people on nf.general have been complaining for years about sports
posts/arguements...... there is obvious interest in a group dedicated
to this...... most people in nf.general don't even look at
nf.config...... the sports fanatics probably don't even know we are
having this discussion in here..... i know myself that i no longer
subscribe to nf.general because it was way to full of crap/personal
attacks and the like....... i don't mind sensible discussion, but not
much of that went on in nf.general while i was hanging out there, thus
the avoidance...... perhaps the suggested mandate for nf.sports should
be posted there as well if it already hasn't been........ anyway, i
for one can't wait to see if the group will ever come into
existance..... i have shown my interest, i don't think i should have
to show it every day, you know what i am saying......??? hopefully
something will develop from this soon........
